From a small-town salon to the red carpet.
I started with a Saturday job in a small-town salon, where I was told I'd never be able to travel, or work with celebrities. I left my A-levels to start my apprenticeship, entered every competition I could, and quietly built an editorial portfolio alongside photographers.
Today I travel wherever the work takes me — editorial shoots, London Fashion Week and celebrity clients — and I still look after my own clients every week. I'm not someone who left the chair to teach. I'm still in it.
I've done the trial and error so you don't have to. This is the education I wish I'd had at the start.
